Delivery Consultant (Independent Contractor)
About the Engagement
NEON is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant (Independent Contractor) to provide media delivery and asset management services in support of our Delivery and Media Operations team during a six-month consulting engagement.
The consultant will support a variety of film distribution and awards campaign workflows, helping prepare and deliver digital cinema assets, screeners, marketing materials, and publicity assets as project needs arise. This engagement is well suited for an experienced post-production professional or media operations consultant who is comfortable managing multiple workflows independently and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
About the Opportunity
This role is being hired as a contract position. While there may be opportunities to be considered for a permanent position in the future, any such opportunity would depend on business needs, and other factors. This role should not be interpreted as a contract-to-hire.
Scope of Services
The consultant will provide services that may include:
- Managing and maintaining screener portals
- Coordinating soundtrack processes and delivery materials
- Preparing and coordinating DCP and KDM deliveries for internal stakeholders, exhibitors, talent, and special screenings
- Organizing, labeling, and maintaining media assets from social content and behind-the-scenes shoots
- Creating proxy files for EPKs, dailies, and behind-the-scenes footage
- Performing quality control on screeners to verify subtitle accuracy, audio descriptions, and overall presentation
- Performing quality control on physical media to assess functionality and identify technical issues
- For awards campaigns, sourcing language tracks and coordinating subtitle resyncs as needed
- Pulling video clips and stills for marketing and publicity requests
- Reformatting and resizing creative assets for distribution across multiple platforms
- Providing additional media delivery and asset management support as requested during the engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with film, video, and audio delivery workflows
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with media asset management systems, transcoding software, subtitle workflows, or related post-production tools
- Prior experience supporting film distribution, post-production, or entertainment marketing workflows
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently while meeting project deadlines
Engagement Details
- Independent contractor (1099) consulting engagement
- Initial engagement term of approximately six (6) months
- Anticipated workload of approximately 30 hours per week, with hours varying based on project needs
- Consultant should be available to work onsite office approximately three days per week to support collaboration and access physical media when required
- Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Start date: Immediate
