Key responsibilities:
1. Participate in the Software Development Process:
2. Submit requirements based on customer input and field experience.
3. Review specifications and designs as a customer advocate.
4. Review release notes and be prepared to explain new features and bug fixes to
customers.
5. Present new software releases to the customer base.
6. Travel to customer factories as needed to provide timely and effective software support.
7. Diagnose, document and resolve software issues in the field.
8. Work closely with Product Team including software & hardware engineers, process engineers
and marketing to develop requirements and design definition for software features.
9. Work with Product Support to investigate and resolve field reported issues on released products.
10. Work with Software Quality Group to test on Product simulators.
11. Conduct training sessions for customers on how to use our software products effectively.
12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.
Requirements:
1. Experience with command level scripting for MS Windows and other operating systems.
2. C# programming skills. PowerShell scripting skills.
3. Understanding of SW development cycle, from requirements to testing, integration and delivery.
4. Systems Management Experience with MS Windows.
5. A team-player attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
6. Ability to travel and to work in a Clean Room environment.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Education
1. Minimum BS CS or related Engineering degree with experience in software development
2. Experience with the following, a plus, but not required:
3. Experience with Manufacturing Communication protocols, specifically SECS/GEM.
4. Ethernet TCP/IP and RS-232 communication interfaces
