Contract Cost Control Lead – Hyperscale Infrastructure

What you will do:
- Drive commercial management and cost control for a landmark digital infrastructure project in Johor.
- Support the project team through rigorous financial oversight and high-level negotiation with global partners.
- Administer all quantity surveying and commercial activities throughout the entire project lifecycle phase.
- Manage variation orders, extensions of time, and complex contractual claims with technical precision.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare detailed commercial reports for senior leadership team review.
- Monitor project budgets against forecasts to identify and mitigate potential commercial risk factors.
- Facilitate commercial discussions with a Chinese main contractor requiring fluent Mandarin technical communication.
- Oversee cost control for specialised infrastructure works including Consumer Landing Stations and buildings.

Experience you need:
- Hold a professional Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management field.
- Minimum 5 years of specialized experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of construction contracts and advanced commercial administration for high-value project packages.
Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset for managing multi-trade subcontractor packages and claims.

Nice to have / Bonus:
- Prior experience with EPC projects or large-scale industrial developments in the Johor region.
