Remote Recruitment is looking for a Social Media Assistant to support a UK-based employer as part of a fully remote team. You will help keep social channels active, engaging and on-brand. This is a 100% remote role for creative South African talent, working UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK time / 11:00–19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish posts across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
• Draft captions and source or edit simple visuals
• Monitor comments and messages, and reply in the brand voice
• Track basic performance and report on what's working
• Help plan content calendars with the marketing team

What you'll need

• Experience with social media or content support
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and Canva
• Good written English and an eye for detail
• A creative, organised approach
• A quiet home workspace with reliable internet
