Triplett & Carothers is seeking a client-focused Estate Planning Paralegal to join our established Louisville firm. About the Role

This position centers on client relationships and communication. You’ll be a key point of contact throughout the estate planning process: coordinating signing appointments, working with clients’ other advisors, and making sure every client has a smooth, positive experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and conduct signing appointments for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the estate planning process
  • Communicate with financial advisors, wealth managers, accountants, and other professionals
  • Schedule meetings and follow-ups, and keep client matters moving on schedule
  • Track matter status and maintain organized, current client files
  • Assist attorneys with document preparation, proofreading, and review
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries with professionalism and warmth

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a law firm, financial services, wealth management, banking, or another professional client-facing role (preferred)
  • Paralegal certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and outside professionals
  • A professional, compassionate, service-oriented approach
  • Estate planning experience is a plus but not required—we’re glad to train the right person

  • $48,000–$52,000 annually, commensurate with experience
