About this Estate Planning Attorney - No Rainmaking | Remote | Flexible role at United Placement Group
Most estate planning attorneys lose 40–60% of their time to non-billable work—marketing, intake, scheduling, and paperwork.
In this role, you meet only with prepared, pre-qualified clients, while our team handles everything before and after the consultation so you can focus on high-value legal work.
What you’ll do
- Provide estate planning, asset protection, Medicaid/special needs planning, and business formation services.
- Review pre-collected intake documents and conduct thorough client meetings.
- Deliver practical, personalized legal strategies supported by a dedicated back-office team.
Requirements
Ideal attorney
- Active Virginia bar license in good standing.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- 3+ years of estate planning experience, including Medicaid asset protection.
- Comfortable managing legal matters independently and conducting virtual client consultations.
- Multi-state bar licensure preferred.
- Tax planning, business formation, and special needs planning experience are a plus.
- Experience handling sensitive family or Medicaid planning conversations with clients is a plus.
- Experience advising small-business owners on formation matters is a plus.
- An LL.M. in estate planning or tax is a plus.
