About the Team

This role is part of a new venture initiative led by Beam's founder, focused on applying AI and automation to identify, validate, and solve high-impact business problems across a portfolio of companies.

Working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, AI, and operations, you'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to transform ideas into scalable AI-powered solutions. You'll operate in a small, high-ownership environment where speed, experimentation, and execution are valued over hierarchy.

About the Role

Your mission is to identify a major opportunity, build a new product or business vertical within Beam, assemble the right team, validate the market, and grow it into a standalone business with significant revenue and impact.

This role is for highly capable generalists who enjoy solving problems, moving quickly, and taking ownership. We are looking for people who can turn ideas into execution and create meaningful impact from day one.

You will work directly with founders and senior leaders on high-priority initiatives across Market Expansion, Partnerships, Solutions Engineering and Growth.

Responsibilities

• Work on some of our toughest, most ambitious new projects and own the entire journey, from business strategy and product development, to GTM planning and execution.
• Identify business challenges where AI agents and automation can create meaningful value.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation, coordinating stakeholders and delivery.
• Design and own end-to-end AI and automation solutions tailored to business needs.
• Build and deploy AI agents and workflow automations using modern AI platforms and tools.
• Collaborating with different stakeholders across the company, including Go-To-Market, Engineering, Business Development and Solutions Engineering, to ensure effective delivery of new bets
• Research emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment at a high-growth tech startup, top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment bank, or similar.
• Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from idea through execution.
• Passion for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple functions and disciplines.
• Comfortable working independently in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
• Strong ownership mentality with a bias to action.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents or workflow automations.
• Familiarity with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Relevance AI, Lindy, or similar.
• Experience with prompt engineering or LLM-powered applications.
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, APIs).
• Previous experience in a founder's office, startup, venture studio, or innovation role.
