The Entity Resolution Associate is a subject matter expert supporting the US General Services Administration (GSA) Entity Validation Services (EVS) program, responsible for improving the accuracy, coverage, and performance of entity resolution across the EVS solution. This role evaluates entity matching against GSA requirements, identifies gaps in match logic and data coverage, and provides actionable insights to technical teams for implementation.

The Entity Resolution Associate is directly accountable for SLA performance, including match accuracy and exception rates, ensuring entity resolution meets defined thresholds during transition and production. It leads structured validation and testing, analyzes low-confidence or unresolved matches, and drives improvements in precision, recall, and consistency.

In addition, the role contributes to strengthening enterprise-wide entity resolution capabilities by applying learnings to Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and Exclusions use cases, improving System for Award Management SAM.gov data matching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver reports to Program Manager in required format and frequency.                                                                                           
  • Ensure successful transition and achievement of entity resolution SLAs, including ≥85% data accuracy.                                   
  • Works with EVS Tier 2 Help Desk Technical Lead to design processes to reduce help desk ticket volume for realized cost savings.
  • Works cross-functionally with D&B Program Manager, AI technologists, Data Scientists, Operations, and Technical Lead to provide insight on any other areas for improvement or efficiencies in entity resolution as defined by the leads for realized cost savings.
  • Work with Data Product Managers and Data Science leaders to provide summary of entity resolution improvements from client’s entity validation solution that can be utilized within D&B's entity resolution processes to improve the entity resolution of SAM.gov data that D&B ingests (Awards, Exclusions, UEI Registered & Unregistered).
  • Provides entity resolution specific progress update to Data Science, Technology, and Program Management leads for realized efficiency for entity validation across other federal agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience Needed

  • Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Snowflake cloud platforms

  • Knowledge of exploratory data analysis, statistics, and data visualization

  • Experience working with large, multi-source datasets

  • Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly to engineering teams

  • Understanding of entity resolution concepts including matching logic, precision, and recall

  • Experience with SAM.gov / GSA data is preferred

  • Experience in client-driven statistical/analytical engagements is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.

  • 2 – 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in entity/identity resolution analysis.
