Belton, Missouri | Full-Time | Outpatient Orthopedics
The Position
A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Belton, MO is hiring a Physical Therapist to join its clinical team. This role is focused on providing skilled care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
The patient population ranges from 11 to 90 years old, offering clinical variety throughout the workweek. The Physical Therapist will manage evaluations, treatment planning, skilled interventions, documentation, and patient education while working alongside 2 PTs and 2 PTAs.
Compensation and Schedule
Salary:
New Graduates: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapists: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience
Preferred Schedule Option:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Four 10-hour days, with Tuesday off each week
Second Schedule Option:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinical Setting
This is a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic using WebPT. The clinic sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week, with each provider seeing around 7–15 patients per day.
The primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Insurance plans accepted include BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions through appropriate PT interventions
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on home programs, movement modifications, and recovery expectations
- Reassess progress and make plan-of-care updates as needed
- Complete accurate documentation in WebPT
- Communicate with PTAs, providers, and referral sources when needed
- Help patients improve strength, movement quality, independence, and daily function
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Organized approach to documentation and treatment planning
