This full-time Physical Therapist role offers the opportunity to work in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic with a steady caseload and a broad patient population.
Patients range from 11 to 90 years old and are primarily treated for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, skilled therapy, patient education, progress tracking, and coordination with PTAs and other clinical staff.
This position may be a strong fit for a new graduate looking to start in outpatient orthopedics or an experienced PT seeking a stable role with competitive compensation.
Compensation
New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on experience
Clinic Snapshot
- Setting: Modern outpatient orthopedic clinic
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Main Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
Schedule Flexibility
The clinic strongly prefers one of the following schedule options:
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and identify patient goals, limitations, and treatment needs
- Develop plans of care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance training, gait training, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on recovery expectations, home exercise programs, and safe movement habits
- Reassess progress and update treatment plans as needed
- Complete documentation accurately using WebPT
- Coordinate with PTAs and other clinical team members
- Support patients as they work toward better movement, strength, and daily function
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
- Ability to work professionally with patients across different ages and conditions
