We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to lead enterprise-scale financial transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting, end-to-end implementations, and cross-functional integration who are passionate about delivering scalable and efficient financial solutions.
As an SAP FI Consultant, you will be responsible for leading SAP FI implementation and support projects, configuring financial modules, and working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. You will play a key role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules, supporting financial closing activities, and providing functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP S/4HANA environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP FI implementation, enhancement, and support projects across the complete project lifecycle.
- Configure and customize SAP FI modules within SAP S/4HANA to meet business and financial requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
- Manage core financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Closing.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules such as CO, MM, SD, PS, and Treasury.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP development teams for custom enhancements and technical solutions.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities while ensuring system accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution during implementation and support phases.
- Develop functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, and user manuals.
- Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful solution adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvements and optimize financial operations.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to ensure successful SAP project delivery.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI with a minimum of 4+ years working on SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI integration with CO, MM, SD, PS, and Treasury modules.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP development teams.
- Strong understanding of SAP financial processes, configuration, testing, and deployment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Experience conducting user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
