The Role
The Director, Marketing – Mexico is responsible for developing and executing the localized marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, Brand Ambassador growth, and long-term business performance across the Mexico market. This leader creates a consistent, culturally relevant marketing vision that strengthens Plexus' position as the leading gut health brand while equipping Brand Ambassadors with the tools, campaigns, and resources they need to successfully grow their businesses.
Serving as the strategic marketing leader for Mexico, this role partners closely with Global Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Sales, and Field Development teams to translate global initiatives into impactful local campaigns that resonate with Mexican consumers and Brand Ambassadors. The Director also leads the market's digital marketing strategy, ensuring Plexus builds a recognizable online presence through localized social media, digital content, and customer engagement initiatives.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, this leader combines strategic thinking, creativity, operational excellence, and people leadership to accelerate business growth while ensuring brand consistency and regulatory compliance.

Performance Accountabilities
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and execute the Mexico marketing strategy that increases brand awareness, customer engagement, Brand Ambassador growth, and overall market performance.
- Lead localized campaign development by adapting global marketing initiatives, product launches, promotions, and messaging to align with the cultural, competitive, and regulatory needs of the Mexico market.
- Drive digital marketing excellence by creating and executing a comprehensive social media, digital content, and online engagement strategy that delivers measurable business results.
- Equip the field for success by developing culturally relevant marketing tools, promotional assets, sales materials, and customer-facing resources that support Brand Ambassador acquisition, retention, and business growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Sales, Compliance, and Field Development to ensure strategic alignment and successful campaign execution.
- Manage localized product marketing, including pricing support, promotional strategies, product positioning, and marketing collateral for the Mexico market.
- Lead the creative function by overseeing the development, translation, design, approval, and deployment of all localized marketing materials while maintaining brand consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Measure marketing performance by managing budgets, analyzing campaign effectiveness, optimizing return on investment, and leveraging data to improve future marketing initiatives.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, talent development, and fostering a collaborative, innovative marketing culture.
- Support business needs by working occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays to support key market events and business initiatives.
Performance Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, International Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 3 years leading high-performing teams.
- Direct Selling, consumer products, health and wellness, or international marketing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing localized marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
