About this Director, Global Business Systems Enablement role at Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
The Director, Global Business Systems Enablement is responsible for defining, establishing, and evolving the operating model that enables Commercial, Medical Affairs, and selected G&A global business systems across markets outside the United States. This role ensures that regional needs are clearly understood, refined, and effectively integrated into scalable global processes and governance, including launch orchestration, compliance frameworks, software development lifecycle practices, prioritization, and demand management. Working in close partnership with regional IT leaders, global Commercial and Medical solution teams, G&A Systems, and enterprise technology partners, this leader establishes, drives, and continuously improves the governance, planning, and execution models required to support an expanding global business while ensuring business demand is effectively qualified, prioritized, and delivered through those processes. For new market launches outside the United States, this individual leads the associated Go-to-Market and selected G&A business systems workstreams, ensuring coordinated planning, readiness, and execution across regional IT teams, global Commercial and Medical solution teams, and enterprise technology teams.
The Director adds value by clarifying business requirements, identifying cross-market commonalities, and reducing discovery work for global delivery teams such as Omnichannel Solutions, Data Solutions, Medical Affairs Solutions, and Field Solutions. The role strengthens the frameworks, governance, and ways of working that enable seamless pull through of work into global intake and execution models while helping regional IT leads and enterprise partners operate more efficiently and maintain alignment with global standards. Partnering closely with IT, Information Security, Planning & Management, G&A Systems, R&D Systems, and other enterprise technology partners, this leader influences strategic planning and business transformation initiatives while continuously evolving the operating model and cross-functional partnerships to strengthen coordination, improve visibility, and ensure scalable, compliant, and launch-ready execution without creating bottlenecks or slowing direct collaboration where it is most effective. The Director also brings a forward-looking perspective on AI, analytics, automation and digital innovation, identifying practical opportunities to improve decision-making, simplify ways of working, and strengthen global business capabilities.
Global Enablement and Orchestration

Lead the Go-to-Market and selected G&A business systems workstream for Global Markets (outside of the United States), providing strategic leadership, governance, coordination, and visibility across regional initiatives.

Lead engagement between regional IT organizations in Europe and Japan and the global Commercial, Medical, and G&A Information Systems team, while fostering strong partnership with enterprise IT.

For global systems, translate regional business needs into executable work in partnership with global solution teams.

Drive effective qualification and prioritization of ex US demand before it enters global intake forums.
Planning and Launch Readiness

Drive planning, intake coordination, and launch preparation activities for ex US markets.

Drive sequencing and pull through of work into global systems and processes.

Manage cross regional dependencies to reduce delays and ensure aligned execution.

Enable coordinated planning and execution as additional markets, indications, and products are introduced.

Provide strategic oversight across multiple concurrent market launches, ensuring priorities, dependencies, risks, and resource needs are proactively managed across regions.
Operating Model and Scalability

Define, implement, and evolve the global operating model, governance, engagement models, and decision-making processes that enable scalable collaboration across regional IT teams, global solution teams, and enterprise technology partners.

Empower regional IT teams to move quickly while maintaining global consistency and efficiency.

Proactively manage coordination complexity and time zone challenges to support effective collaboration between regional teams and global solution leaders.

Establish governance and portfolio visibility to inform prioritization while driving process simplification and continuous improvement across global business systems.

Identify and champion opportunities to leverage AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to simplify processes, improve decision-making, and strengthen global business capabilities.
Cross Functional Partnership

Drive action day to day with peers across Data Solutions, Field Solutions, Omnichannel Solutions, and Medical Affairs Solutions to support integrated execution.

Proactively engage and align cross enterprise technology partners including IT, Information Security, Planning & Management, G&A Systems, and R&D Systems Teams to ensure integrated planning, risk management, compliance, and end to end solution readiness across global markets.

Partner with enterprise stakeholders to ensure systems are compliant, secure, and operationally ready.

Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Commercial, Medical, G&A, regional IT, and enterprise technology leaders, influencing long-term planning, organizational alignment, and business transformation initiatives.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent).
-
12+ years of experience supporting enterprise business systems, including Commercial, Medical, Finance/ERP, IT business partnership, business transformation, program management, or related disciplines, including leadership of complex global initiatives.

Experience supporting global or multi regional initiatives, preferably across Europe and Asia Pacific.

Demonstrated experience designing or evolving global operating models, governance frameworks, or organizational processes.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and lead without direct authority across highly matrixed global organizations.

Strong understanding of commercialization processes, launch readiness, and enterprise business systems and data sources (e.g., CRM, ERP, digital, secondary data, visualization platforms).

Demonstrated understanding of how AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies can be applied to improve commercial operations, business systems, organizational effectiveness, and decision-making.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to build trust and manage relationships across multiple functions.

Experience leading organizational change, business transformation, or large-scale process improvement initiatives, with demonstrated strategic thinking balanced by the ability to execute and deliver operational results.
