| Role Overview We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a capital markets platform focused on trade lifecycle processing, data engineering, and full-stack application delivery. In this Senior Consultant–level role, you will design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automate build and deployment processes, and manage containerized applications across cloud and on-premise Kubernetes environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins in the on-prem scenario for Kubernetes environment and/or AWS-native CI/CD services (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy). • Develop automated build and deployment scripts for Enterprise scale platforms: o .NET-based backend/API services o ReactJS-based frontend applications o Infrastructure as a code preferably using Terraform or equivalent. • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments in Kubernetes environments (AWS EKS and/or on-prem clusters). • Create, manage, and optimize Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments. • Work with Kubernetes toolchain including kubectl, CLI tools, Kustomize, and Skaffold for deployment automation and configuration management. • Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment efficiency. • Implement environment provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using Prometheus and Grafana. • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues across distributed systems. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of deployment environments. • Support blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications • 8–12+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles. • Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using: o Jenkins o AWS CI/CD services (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy) • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization best practices. • Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS and/or on-prem), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. • Proficiency with Kubernetes tools: o kubectl, CLI tooling o Kustomize o Skaffold • Strong experience with Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications. • Experience deploying and managing applications for: o .NET backend systems o ReactJS frontend applications • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture. • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. • Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python). Preferred Qualifications • Experience in capital markets or financial services environments. • Familiarity with microservices architectures and distributed systems. • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Experience with secrets management and security best practices (IAM, Vault, etc.). • Exposure to GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux). • Experience supporting high-throughput, low-latency systems. Soft Skills • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in fast-paced, production-critical environments. • Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability. |
