Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic Demand Generation Lead to join our team. The Demand Generation Lead will be responsible for developing and executing tactics to drive engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue specific to the Japan/APAC region, as well as maintaining strict operational processes. They will work in tight alignment with the extended marketing organization and in-market agencies to support always-on demand generation efforts as well as audience-based integrated campaigns. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management skills, and an understanding of demand generation principles and tactics.
Although their focus will be the Japan/APAC market, this person should have a global mindset and a collaborative approach to managing channels and campaigns. They will have a mix of direct and indirect channel ownership in areas like directories, third-party programs, email nurtures, webinars, paid media, SEO, direct mail/gifting, events, and association and partner programs. They will be responsible for coordinating across all channels to ensure the team’s global strategy aligns well with our Japan/APAC audience.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute demand generation marketing strategies and plans to support business objectives, focusing on driving engagement and revenue in Japan/APAC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, and Operations to ensure strong ICP targeting and funnel progression.
• Manage the end-to-end execution of demand generation campaigns, including campaign setup, audience segmentation and targeting, scheduling, deployment, and optimization.
• Utilize marketing automation, CRM, and ABM platforms to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, analyze key metrics, and optimize performance.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on the performance of regional demand generation programs, including key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and recommend new strategics and tactics to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive results.
• Support initiatives to expand AI use cases within the demand generation and broader marketing functions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• Fluency in both Japanese and English
• 4-6 years in B2B marketing, with a focus on demand generation or ABM in Japan/APAC; knowledge of the life sciences industry a plus.
• An understanding of demand generation and ABM principles, strategies, and tactics, with a track record of successfully executing campaigns and driving measurable results.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze results, and derive actionable insights to optimize campaign performance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Marketo, Salesforce, and Demandbase (or equivalent tools).
• Genuine interest in learning and executing AI tools and capabilities.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and experimentation, and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
