Credence has an immediate opening for a Cybersecurity Project Manager (Journeyman) supporting Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC/A26).

The Contractor shall provide cybersecurity project management, RMF support, compliance tracking, and IT security coordination in support of ACC/A26 cybersecurity and ISR Enterprise IT modernization efforts. This role supports tailored cybersecurity activities to ensure security requirements are identified early, incorporated into development and integration efforts, and tracked through testing, authorization, and sustainment.

The position is intended for an IT cybersecurity professional with experience supporting security technologies, RMF activities, compliance documentation, vulnerability management, and project coordination across technical and operational stakeholders.

Specific Support Tasks are as follows:

  • The Contractor shall support ACC/A26 cybersecurity project management activities for ISR Enterprise IT modernization, technology integration, system development, and cybersecurity compliance efforts.
  • The Contractor shall assist in identifying and documenting cybersecurity, RMF, A&A, and compliance requirements during project planning, development, integration, testing, and fielding.
  • The Contractor shall coordinate with ACC/A26, ACC Cybersecurity Chief ISSO/ISSMs, unit ISSOs/ISSMs, system owners, technical teams, and operational stakeholders to support secure and compliant project execution.
  • The Contractor shall track and report cybersecurity activities related to security plans, POA&Ms, A&A workflows, ATOs, patch management, IAVAs, DoD 8140 requirements, FISMA compliance, and vulnerability management.
  • The Contractor shall maintain cybersecurity action trackers, project schedules, task logs, risk registers, compliance artifacts, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • The Contractor shall support cybersecurity inputs into test plans, implementation schedules, exercise support activities, experimentation events, and system integration efforts.
  • The Contractor shall assist in gathering, analyzing, and reporting cybersecurity program data to identify compliance gaps, project risks, technical dependencies, and remediation actions.
  • The Contractor shall support ISSOs/ISSMs and commanders by preparing cybersecurity guidance, assessment inputs, and recommended actions to improve cybersecurity program performance.
  • The Contractor shall assist in evaluating emerging ISR technologies and non-materiel IT solutions to ensure cybersecurity considerations are documented and addressed during integration planning.
  • The Contractor shall support configuration baseline management, technical documentation, project databases, architecture repositories, and knowledge management activities.
  • The Contractor shall assist in developing and updating cybersecurity training materials, work center training products, and process documentation for IT security tools, policies, and procedures.
  • The Contractor shall prepare briefings, status reports, compliance updates, meeting materials, and decision-support products for government stakeholders.
  • The Contractor shall identify cybersecurity project issues, RMF documentation gaps, vulnerability management concerns, and integration challenges, and elevate risks with recommended mitigation actions.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility/access (TS/SCI) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Program Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–10 years of relevant experience supporting cybersecurity, RMF, IT project management, systems integration, ISR IT modernization, or DoD mission systems.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or IT security activities involving RMF, A&A, ATOs, POA&Ms, vulnerability tracking, compliance reporting, or cybersecurity documentation.
  • Experience supporting ISR systems, C4ISR systems, intelligence IT architectures, cloud environments, enterprise applications, or DoD mission systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity requirements across the system development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, integration, testing, authorization, and sustainment.
  • Experience coordinating with ISSOs, ISSMs, system owners, technical teams, operational users, and government stakeholders.
  • Security+, CAP/CGRC, CISSP, CISM, PMP, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required. Significant cybersecurity, RMF, or IT project support experience may be accepted as a substitute.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to support multiple workstreams and deliverables in a high-tempo environment.

Work Environment

  • Primary duty location: Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC/A26), Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA.
  • Occasional CONUS travel may be required to support cybersecurity reviews, system integration events, exercises, testing, or stakeholder engagements.
  • Security requirements: Compliance with all applicable TS/SCI, cybersecurity, system access, SCI handling, and security training requirements.
