Job Summary
Are you high-energy, detail-oriented, and love working directly with people? We are looking for a Customer Service Representative / New Student Specialist to be the face of our studio. This is a dynamic, active, "on-your-feet" position. You will welcome new clients, handle front-facing customer service, and work hands-on with beginners to teach them their very first set of introductory dance lessons.
No prior dance instruction experience is required. We provide 100% of the comprehensive training you need to feel confident teaching basic introductory steps and managing client accounts.
Key Responsibilities/Future
- Hands-On Client Engagement: Welcome new students to the studio, conduct tours, and introduce them to our community.
- Introductory Instruction: Guide new clients through their first set of foundational dance lessons using our proven studio system.
- Customer Support & Sales: Assist new clients in selecting the best enrollment packages to meet their goals and manage scheduling/accounts.
- Studio Ambassadorship: Maintain an upbeat, positive atmosphere in the studio and assist with studio events, parties, and local brand promotions.
- Brand Growth: Collaborate with the leadership team to help expand the Fred Astaire brand presence in the Kansas City area.
- Path to Advanced Teaching: Over time, transition into teaching advanced patterns, choreography, and higher-level medal standards to established students.
