Job Description
The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Manager plays a pivotal role in efficiently coordinating all laboratory activities to ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with project requirements and safety standards. Responsible for the quality and safety of construction materials and structures, the CMT Laboratory Manager oversees laboratory operations, staff, and equipment while developing technical procedures and maintaining accreditation standards (USACE, AMRL, CCRL). This multifaceted position involves implementing safety regulations, performing necessary maintenance and testing, and ensuring adherence to industry standards, making it essential to the successful completion of construction projects.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in ensuring the quality and safety of construction materials, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
You may also travel to various job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
Qualifications
You are passionate about:

Required
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a construction related field.
- Minimum 5 years working in a construction materials or geotechnical laboratory.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
Preferred
- Associate degree in a construction related field.
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade I, National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) I/II, or relevant Department of Transportation (DOT) certifications.
