The role is to work within the Risk Department to support the organisation’s compliance framework by helping ensure that regulatory obligations, internal policies, and risk‑management standards are understood, implemented, and maintained across the business.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
Provide support across a broad range of Compliance activities, including:
- Assisting with the implementation and ongoing monitoring of AI and automation initiatives within the Compliance function
- Creating and maintaining Compliance training modules and supporting the delivery of staff training
- Administering and maintaining the Compliance Management System, Learning Management System, and other critical governance systems
- Assisting with various ad hoc and ongoing compliance tasks as assigned
Are you the one?
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant internship experience in Compliance, Risk, Legal, Governance, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates from other academic backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
- Strong interest in building a career in Compliance within the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond to internal departmental queries and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling administrative and compliance-related tasks.
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and support day-to-day compliance activities, including complaint handling, compliance training administration, and governance processes.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a global Compliance team.
- Exposure to Compliance Management Systems (CMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), AI or automation tools would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided.
