What Ratliff Metal Spinning, a division of CaptiveAire, is looking for: 

Ratliff Metal Spinning is hiring Production Workers to work as Machine Operators for our Englewood, Ohio manufacturing facility. If you are looking for meaningful work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled, and financially stable manufacturing environment, we’d love to have you join our team.

Note: Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and a negative drug screen.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Overtime is rare, but may occasionally be required

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Possesses basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools
  • Have basic computer and possesses strong organizational skills
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Follows safety procedures and quality standards consistently

Job Description:

  • Operate a variety of CNC and manually controlled metal-forming equipment in accordance with job specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and production requirements
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines
  • Perform test runs to ensure machines are operating according to specifications
  • Set and operate machines to complete full production cycles
  • Monitor machine operation throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to inspect finished parts for compliance with specifications
  • Perform routine daily maintenance and report equipment malfunctions as needed
  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies and established quality control procedures
  • Participate in on-the-job training and continuous process improvement initiatives

Job requirements:

  • Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position
  • Demonstrates honesty and reliability
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and independently
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Word and Excel, preferred
  • Able to follow verbal and written work instructions accurately
  • CNC and prior production machine experience preferred
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Proficient in reading and writing English

Salary:

  • $20-$23 per hour based upon experience
  • Monthly bonus based on productivity & profits
