Addiction Recovery Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of medical service providers devoted to treating Substance Use Disorder. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the nursing staff with caring for patients during their detoxification process
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
  • Document patient progress and report any significant changes to the medical team
  • Assist with the intake process, including obtaining medical histories and assisting with diagnostic testing
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Nurse Assistant or MOA in the state of North Carolina
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Early office hours

About Addiction Recovery Medical Services

Addiction Recovery Medical Services is an Opioid Treatment Program. We provide medication assisted treatment, individual and group counseling, frequent visits with a MD or NP for the treatment of Substance Use Disorder.


We are Addiction Recovery Medical Services (ARMS). We are a state-of-the-art outpatient substance abuse treatment program with full-time medical service providers, master level comprehensive substance abuse counselors, and loving and caring staff who are truly invested in the well being and recovery of our patients. We are licensed to treat with methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone and are CARF accredited. Our services include medically monitored detoxification, faith-based outpatient and intensive outpatient programs led by our team of six providers and our medical director, Dr. Bobby Kearney, who is Board Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Anesthesiology. With over 34 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kearney is committed to providing cutting edge technology and treatment to help patients obtain their goals of living a substance free life. Additionally, we provide individual, group, and family counseling services, medication management, after-hours crisis support, and comprehensive urine drug testing analyzed in our in-house high complexity lab.
