The Clinical Associate Director  of Onsite Housing Supportive Services works closely with the Program Director to coordinate overall program operations, serving on both the leadership team of the department and broader organizational teams. This role focuses on designing and implementing recovery-oriented services such as transitional housing, behavioral health, education, and community reintegration. Key responsibilities include collaborating with multiple agencies & community partners, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, developing goals & objectives to achieve the Coalitions mission, and supervising program staff to deliver integrated, comprehensive care across our programs.

Education Requirement: Masters in social work or counseling
 
Licensing Required: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
 
NOTE: In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date.  The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate's submission of documents necessary for clearance.  Please note that a start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.

  • Valid driver’s license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business and/or role.

    Essential Job Functions

  • Works to create a supportive working environment that encourages trauma-informed and culturally competent interactions that build collaboration and create a kind and respectful atmosphere throughout the program.    
  • ollaborates with the on-site Coalition Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), detox provider, and property management team to ensure seamless integration of safety, healthcare, recovery, and transitional housing services.
  • Manages department budgets for respective programs & assists in strategic planning to ensure continuum of care.
  • Responsible for setting performance objectives for staff to meet and assisting with determining department goals, as well as grant requirements and other reporting data quality.
  • Supervises Program Managers & team to provide development, coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support in alignment with department goals and client outcomes.  
  • Assists in the development of program operations, policies, and services that are evidence based to meet quality standards & care.
  • Works collaboratively with community partners & internal coalition teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive services, including all regulatory compliance including reports to grantors and partners, as required by law and/or payor sources. 
  • Responds to crises & client grievances in a trauma-informed, empathetic, and safety-focused manner, drawing on training in de-escalation and best practices.  
  • Ensure timely & accurate use of all company systems as required while maintaining complete up-to-date records and any future upgrades as directed.

  • Qualifications Summary

    Job Competencies
  • Proven ability to provide vision, leadership, motivation, and supervision of diverse staff.
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and evaluating housing and supportive services programs utilizing evidence-based best practices.
  • Computer skills necessary to accomplish duties including core competency in HMIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High degree of knowledge and experience working with individuals who are homeless.
  • Must embrace the mission and philosophy of recovery and client-centered services.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with respective stakeholders.
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol.
  • Must be able to remain calm, think clearly, and apply sound judgement in high-pressure situations. 
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with program development and knowledge of working with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.  
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in management/supervisory experience required.  
  • Experience working with people experiencing homelessness or at-risk populations preferred.
  • Experience in community-based recovery support, mental health, and substance use disorders preferred.  
  • Relative experience including lived experience with SUD preferred. 
  • Experience in a recovery setting is preferred. 
  • Education
  • Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
  • Licensed as mental health provider (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) required.  
  • LAC,CAS or CAT preferred.
