THE COMPANY
We partner with established civil engineering firms across Houston, Washington DC, and New York that lead site development, land development, and infrastructure work for both public and private clients. These firms are known for technically rigorous, community-shaping projects and for investing in their engineers' long-term growth.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're building a pipeline of experienced Civil Engineers for active and upcoming searches across these three markets. This is an opportunity to join a firm doing meaningful site development, utility, and infrastructure work, with real ownership over projects from concept through construction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop site plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
- Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering calculations
- Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and municipal reviewers throughout entitlement and permitting
- Manage project deliverables against budget and schedule
- Perform site visits and construction observation to ensure design intent is met
- Mentor junior engineers and support quality control across deliverables
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- 5–10+ years of civil engineering experience; PE license preferred
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD; familiarity with HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling tools a plus
- Strong understanding of local permitting and entitlement processes in your market
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
