Chinese Language Arts Teacher for District of Columbia International School to work at our Washington DC loc. Teach Chinese to diverse learners through rel immersion methods. Plan middle school curriculum (grades 6-8) w/ IB DP Language curriculum framework, IB MYP/DP + Chinese language immersion. Advise students + teach advisory class via advisory curriculum + support instructional program. Ability to work in intense, high-performing charter school, maximize student engagement/learning, accept/implement feedback, + continue professional development. Collaborate w/ gen & special educators, coordinators & leadership. High degree of communication through various mediums with parents & students. Lead/participate in cultural activities for faculty + students. Implement 1:1 Chromebook technology program. Occ eve + wknd hrs. May undergo background checks.  Salary $63,113 per year. Must have Bachelors degree in Chinese,  Education, or related field. Must hold (or be eligible for) appropriate state certification. Must have ability to plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies Also requires fluency in Chinese (Mandarin). Apply at https://dcinternationalschool.org/.
