In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for the season 2026 a Street Food Order Taker / Cashier.

Position Summary

The Street Food Order Taker / Cashier will implement our Service Excellence Culture at our resort, Helea Lifestyle Beach Resort, in Rhodes. The Street Food Order Taker / Cashier is responsible for delivering fast, accurate, and friendly service to guests by efficiently taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. The role supports the outlet’s operational flow while contributing to guest satisfaction through professionalism, speed, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring clarity and correct order entry.
• Operate the cash register and/or POS system efficiently, handling cash and electronic payments responsibly.
• Ensure correct billing, issuing receipts, and managing transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Set up and counter serve guests trays, with guest’s food & beverage orders.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen or preparation team, supporting smooth service flow.
• Answer basic guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier and service area.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and operational standards at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries or minor complaints politely, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support the team during peak service periods to ensure fast and efficient operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Any higher education degree in Hospitality Management will be considered an asset.
• Previous experience in a similar role as Order Taker, Cashier, or Front-of-House team member in a street food outlet, fast casual restaurant, or F&B environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Good command of English (additional languages are considered an asset).
• Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.
• Reliability, honesty, and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and willingness to support colleagues.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
