What You'll Do
As a CAD Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our custom closet projects are accurate, production-ready, and set up for successful installation. Working closely with our Design, Manufacturing, and Installation teams, you'll help move projects from concept to completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
Exporting and preparing design files for production (ClosetPro, CSV, etc.)
Verifying measurements, wall dimensions, and job specifications
Reviewing approved designs to ensure they are production and installation ready
Coordinating special-order materials and supporting production scheduling
Troubleshooting installation questions and providing technical support to field teams
Visiting customer homes as needed to verify measurements or resolve project issues
What You'll Bring
1+ year of CAD or technical drafting experience
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new software
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while partnering across multiple teams
Ideal Backgrounds
This position is a great fit for individuals with experience in:
Custom closets or cabinetry
Residential remodeling or home improvement
CAD drafting or technical design
Installation, production planning, or project coordination
Experience with Closet Factory or similar organizations is a plus
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on installation or construction experience who also enjoys technical problem-solving, CAD, and project coordination.
