The Team

Operations plays a critical role across AQR, responsible for supporting trading activity, mitigating operational risk, and partnering with technology to build scalable, efficient processes. The team works closely with Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to support new and existing business across global fund structures.

Your Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Analyst to join the Client Services team supporting AQR’s International Lux Fund platform. This role sits at the center of fund operations, client servicing, and business development support, with increasing exposure to complex fund flows, data management, and external stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient account onboarding, accurate and timely flow processing, high-quality data dissemination, and responsive client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flow Handling & Oversight
    • Support daily oversight of subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers across the Lux platform
    • Manage increasingly complex flow activity, including rebate processing and fee changes
    • Ensure timely and accurate communication of flows to internal stakeholders, including Portfolio Implementation and Management teams.
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with flow processing, while contributing to process improvements and scalability
    • Co-ordinate flow mapping / approval process daily

  • Client Query Management
    • Act as a key point of contact for client servicing queries, working closely with Business Development and, where appropriate, directly with clients
    • Coordinate responses to a high volume of ad-hoc operational and product-related queries
    • Investigate and resolve issues across AQR’s operational infrastructure in a timely and professional manner
  • Account Set-Up & Onboarding Support
    • Support the onboarding of new investor accounts across the Lux fund range, coordinating documentation between Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and the funds Transfer Agent.
    • Assist in the setup of complex account structures and ensure accurate system capture and downstream readiness
    • Partner with internal onboarding teams to facilitate efficient launches of new mandates and share classes, as well as fund liquidations / re-structures

  • Data Management & Distribution
    • Support the management and delivery of fund data to wealth platforms and institutional clients, including bespoke data requests
    • Oversee the quality, completeness, and timeliness of data provided to third-party data aggregators (e.g., Morningstar, FundInfo, FundsLibrary, Refinitiv, etc.)
    • Work with Business Development to ensure external data supports distribution and marketing efforts
    • Partner with Engineering and internal data teams to improve automation and data governance frameworks

  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Provide operational support to external stakeholders, including administrators, custodians, and auditors
    • Collaborate with Portfolio Implementation / Management to ensure accurate translation of flows into portfolio actions
    • Work with Engineering to enhance systems supporting client servicing, cash flow processing, and data management
    • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects aimed at improving scalability and efficiency across the platform


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in asset management, fund operations, or client servicing (Lux/UCITS experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in improving processes and data quality
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across global teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data tools or platforms is advantageous
