Business Development at Capital on Tap πŸš€

Our Sales team drives our growth, with hubs in Brighton, London, Manchester, and remote. You’ll join a team of 8–12 Business Development Managers reporting to a Sales Manager, focused on finding businesses that will thrive with our products. We’re known for a supportive, high‑energy culture, with uncapped commission and clear progression pathways.

What you'll be doing πŸ—ƒοΈ

  • Own the full 360‑sales cycle from sourcing SMEs to early account management.
  • Represent our credit card and close high‑impact deals.
  • Build your pipeline by sourcing and qualifying new SME leads.
  • Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to reach business owners and decision‑makers.
  • Hit quarterly targets by converting new customers and driving early usage.
  • Follow strong compliance standards and FCA regulations to protect customers.

  • Proven 360‑sales experience across prospecting and early account management.
  • Strong outbound B2B prospecting and lead‑gen skills.
  • Experience with high-volume cold-calling and outreach.Β 
  • High ownership, urgency, and accountability for targets.
  • Ability to set and manage your own daily activity goals.
  • Commitment to high standards and excellent customer service.

  • First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner.
  • Second stage: 60 minute case study interview at the office with our Sales Managers.

Base: Β£30,000-Β£40,000 | Uncapped commission structure

Your earning potential here is real β€” and we can prove it. Most BDMs earn around Β£50k OTE in their first year. Top performing newbies have cleared Β£70k OTE in year one, and our top performers overall are consistently at Β£100k+ OTE. No cap. No ceiling. Just you and your effort. Oh, and the record for commission in a single quarter is Β£52k. Go beat it.
