The Baker Associate I will provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while performing all duties.  The Bakery Associate I will perform these duties in such a manner as to create a clean, safe working environment according to Covid – 19 regulations and standards for yourself, co-workers and ultimately TooJay’s guests.

The following responsibilities can and will change depending on the day’s priorities. Your day may consist of one or all of the following:
•    Work neatly
•    Clean work area
•    Fold Boxes/ Package bakery products
•    Perform basic bakery duties
o    Roll out Rugalach
o    Ice Black and White Cookies
o    Cake decorating 
o    Place paper in pans
o    Flip Cheesecake 
o    Prep bakery ingredients 
•    Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and any face masks or gloves/if required and as regulated
•    Comply at all times to TooJay’s standards and regulations for safety and adhere to Health department regulations
•    Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
•    Maintain cleanliness of all cases and work areas
•    Perform all end of shift functions
•    Be familiar with location of fire extinguishers and how to access them
•    Attend meetings as required by management
•    Minimize waste and pilferage
•    Perform any other duties as requested by management
•    Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly 
•    Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns or issues raised by co-workers and/or manager
•    Must be able to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
•    Must wash hands every 30 minutes during and throughout shifts
•    Must be willing to work with cleaning and or sanitizing equipment and solutions
•    Medium work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
•    Ability to stand during entire shift

Requirements:

Any work experience is a plus. No experience necessary.  Training provided.
•     Great attitude, willingness to learn, team player and punctuality is key
•    Must be 16 years of age
