About this Backend developer role at SSC HR Solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design and implement efficient data models.
- Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and deploy them in Kubernetes environments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development using Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot modules such as Spring Web and Spring Data.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit and standard mocking libraries.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes as deployment environments.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with database migration tools such as Flyway.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
