Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Cleaners for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. All positions offer full time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £13.47 per hour
• Day Shift: 06:00am to 18:00pm (12 hour shifts)
• Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training
• Immediate Start!
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

• To monitor, service and maintain all areas of responsibility, as detailed by the daily allocation sheet or management team to the set standard of cleanliness and within the timeframe given, immediately communicating any deficiencies or damage to the Team Leader.
• Sanitization: Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas, including door handles, countertops, desks, and light switches.
• Office Maintenance: Dusting, wiping down workstations and polishing fixtures.
• Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and carpets.
• Restroom & Breakroom Cleaning: Sanitizing bathrooms and staff kitchen areas, including mopping and polishing, and restocking supplies like soap and paper products.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash and recycling bins throughout the office areas.
• To maintain professional conduct at all times and to manage own time and attendance.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested within the grade of the post.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a team
• Great work ethic
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of (current) Address
• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial
