About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales leader to step into the role of State Manager – ACT.

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this role is ideal for an experienced Sales Manager or senior sales leader who is ready to broaden their remit into branch leadership. You will lead the ACT sales function while building capability across people leadership, commercial management and strategic growth.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Lead, coach and develop the ACT sales team to deliver sales budgets and agreed KPIs.
  • Embed and reinforce disciplined sales behaviours aligned with our established sales methodology.
  • Drive sales performance while working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and positive customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to branch planning, including sales forecasting, pipeline management and customer engagement activities.
  • Support the development and execution of strategies to grow new and existing accounts.
  • Foster a high-performing, accountable branch culture focused on capability, engagement and retention.
  • Build strong working relationships with other State Managers and Vertical General Managers to capture cross-functional opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Partner with the State Service Delivery Manager to ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading successful sales teams, ideally in a public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and grow sales revenue against targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an appetite to broaden exposure to full branch management.
  • Well-developed people leadership capability, with a coaching and development mindset.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across internal teams and with customers.
  • Confident communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive approach to market engagement, networking and business development within the ACT.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines and competing demands.
  • Comfort working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative leadership team.
  • Australian working rights.

As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks. You will also be required to hold a valid Working with Children check.
