Credence has an immediate need for an Acquisition Logistician Depot and Equipment Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting the B-1 Lancer Division (AFLCMC WBN) at Tinker AFB, OK.

The B-1 Lancer division manages readiness and provides logistical, modification, engineering and technical support for the B-1 aircraft system.  This division provides complete system management and ensures US airpower through acquisitions excellence by delivering modernization, sustainment, and support to the AF’s fleet of B-1 aircraft on-schedule and on-cost.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Assist in providing technical, analytical, and sustainment support for depot activation and post integration requirements. 
  •  Use a combination of logistic management and program management tools in order to manage current and transitioning workloads impacting LSA, peculiar SE acquisition, engineering assessments, and technical data validation and weapon system sustainment. 
  • Track and maintain the depot activation IMS. 
  • Support the Depot Maintenance Activation Working Group Supply Chain Working Group, Semi-Annual Supportability Review, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). 
  • Assist in the development of necessary depot requirements, planning and execution documents to include the Depot Maintenance Activation Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, and Logistic Reporting Tool.
  • Support evaluation, implementation and management of organic and public private partnerships for depot maintenance.
  • Assist in initiating, coordinating and updating DSOR and DMI documentation.
  •  Query and extract data from systems used by the platform program office, warfighter, item managers, equipment specialists, and depot maintenance providers to develop strategies for improving maintenance supply support. 
  • Utilize data systems which include, but are not limited to:  Air Force Portal, Air Force Knowledge Services (AFKS), AFTOC, Item Manager Wholesale Requisition Process (D035A), Master Item Identification Data Base System (D043), DoD EMALL, Defense Repair Information Logistics System (DRILS), Global Combat Support Systems (GCSS), Federal Logistics Information System, Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), Logistics Installations and Mission Support Enterprises View (LIMSEV), Reliability and Maintainability Information Systems (REMIS), SMART, and Weapon System Management Information System-Readiness Assessment Module (WSMIS- RAM), Basing Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE), and Production Maintenance and Consumable (PDMC).
  • The Contractor shall provide support to prepare technical feasibility studies, assemble pertinent data, coordinate technical features in conjunction with applicable engineers and system equipment specialists, and shall finalize related documentation/information for presentations. 
  • Assist with preparation of AFTO Forms 873, 874, and 875 in the development of TCTOs.  
  • Assist in the development of AFTO Form 252 and other related forms and processes required to effect changes/corrections and maintenance of assigned TOs and technical data.  This includes review and correction of parts list for modification kit requirements.
  • Have access to support program requirements to the following:  D043/D143, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS), Haystack and other databases relating to the aircraft and its systems to help determine problem areas on assigned systems and items. 
  • Assist with recommending and developing executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems.
  •  Assist Government equipment specialists and logisticians in conducting special research projects assigned to the aircraft sustainment organization.  The Contractor shall support the USAF PM in tasks related to this effort including but not limited to part number requisitions and item/system research and evaluations.
  •  Support and accomplish spares provisioning as required, and shall interface with appropriate inventory managers located within a variety of DoD agencies. 
  • Ensure that platform spares requirements are identified and shall support the coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet the identified requirements.  This includes research of technical data packages and recommended level of maintenance for source maintenance and repair codes.
  • Support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/tech data verification. 
  • Report findings, kit issues, and corrective actions and make recommendations to the responsible modification manager or PM.
  •  Support F/B platforms in the knowledge of armament systems, Alternate Mission Equipment (AME), nuclear surety, MIL-STD-1760, armament circuits, armament test equipment and rotary launcher equipment. 

Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
  • Fifteen 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Knowledgeable in software development and depot avionics testing and repair and structural repair
  • Knowledgeable of the Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) and Depot Maintenance Interservice (DMI) processes
