The SMB Account Executive is responsible for nurturing and expanding a portfolio of small to medium-sized business advertiser accounts. This position demands a strong grasp of digital marketing, a knack for building client relationships, and a focus on driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and goal-driven professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Retention:
    • Retain a large book of business by successfully renewing expiring contracts.
    • Analyze client performance data to demonstrate value and identify areas for improvement.
    • Proactively identify at-risk accounts and develop strategic plans to educate and recommend improved solutions to customers.
    • Identify accounts showing low platform or program engagement; execute proactive outreach (calls, emails, account reviews) to re-engage these customers before they reach a churn decision point.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive engagement, including persistent outreach to historically unresponsive or disengaged accounts to drive program participation.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and proactively pitch upsell opportunities (e.g., new products, services, increased spend) to existing clients.
    • Partner closely with Solutions Engineers to develop and present compelling proposals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, operations) to ensure client satisfaction and successful campaign delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or account management; sales experience a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and highly motivated.
