An Account Executive plays an integral role in a client service team, running the day-to-day business regarding a set of clients, on behalf of the Agency. The role includes frequent communication with the client, not only to accept requests reactively but also identify opportunities for client growth, proactively. Reporting to an Account Manager, the Account Executive acts as a point-of-contact for the client and is responsible to organize, assign, handle and deliver creative works on behalf of the Agency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize, handle, and oversee the day-to-day business operations for the assigned clientele
  • Ensure each project progress is conducted on a timely manner and the quality level required and expected both by clients and the Agency.
  • Get involved to the creation and presentation of solid creative and business proposals for the client, in collaboration with the Account Manager
  • Contribute to writing briefs as well as aiding the planning & creative process by researching in the process of developing relevant insights and interpreting them into actionable ways-in that are meaningful for the client.
  • Present strategic and creative work to clients as part of the account team, taking and challenging feedback when necessary
  • Be competent with the Cost Estimation, & Invoicing processes and ensure alignment with global WPP policies, assisting both management and the accounting Dept. with relative information on a timely manner.

The ideal Account Executive

  • Is an ideal mix of business mindset (setting goals, meeting targets, executing budget) with a creative mentality (being able to understand how strategy is based on an insight and how ideas elevate the strategy)
  • Thinks and acts having always the optimum desired result in mind, delivering what is required on time and on budget
  • Is interested in extending their knowledge and professional skillset on brand building campaigns, involving traditional media (TV / Radio / OOH / POP) and digital media (Social Media / Digital PR / Digital Media) alike.
  • Would like to be engaged with digital assets & content production
  • excellent organizational skills – you never take a step before planning ahead all the steps, but always agile and prepared to adapt to sudden changes to the plan.
  • Someone who dives into detail on the deliverables to ensure Quality Assurance criteria are met
  • A team player, a top-notch communicator – you know exactly what needs to be done, and you have a clear way of communicating the information
  • A clear-thinking mindset, resourceful and able to provide input and act when a situation requires

Preferred skills

  • Has an academic background in Marketing, Business, Advertising or a relevant field
  • Good knowledge on all forms of traditional and digital media landscape, familiarity with all major social media and digital media platforms (Meta, Google, Tick-tok, LinkedIn)
  • 0-1 years of experience on a similar role on a Marketing and/or Advertising Agency
  • Digital & tech savvy, aligned and eager to learn more about all current and emerging trends on AdTech, Martech and ESG
  • Value diversity, believe strongly in inclusivity and not be afraid of uncomfortable conversations
  • Be a collaborator, communicator and builder of relationships
  • Be resilient, and able to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Act as an effective, professional ambassador for the company
