ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying new opportunities to leading product demonstrations, negotiating terms, and closing business.
You’ll connect with barbers and shop owners across multiple channels, including phone, email, social media, and industry events. By understanding each prospect’s goals and challenges, you’ll build trusted relationships and clearly demonstrate how SQUIRE can support and grow their business.
This role is best suited for someone who brings energy, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset. You’re comfortable creating new opportunities, navigating challenges, and continually strengthening your sales skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

YOUR CRAFT (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and qualification through product demonstrations, negotiation, and close.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by prospecting barbershop owners through outbound calls, email, social media, referrals, and industry events.
Develop a strong understanding of each prospect’s business, challenges, and goals to tailor your approach and recommendations.
Identify key decision-makers, manage follow-up activity, and maintain momentum throughout the sales process.
Lead engaging product demonstrations that connect SQUIRE’s features to customer needs, business outcomes, and measurable value.
Follow established pricing, contract, and invoicing terms while navigating approvals for exceptions.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of outreach, conversations, and deal activity in Salesforce.
Partner closely with Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful customer launch.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed.

1+ years of sales experience with consistent quota attainment in a high-volume, self-sourced role (such as inside or phone sales, SDR/BDR, door-to-door sales, canvassing, commission-based retail, or SMB field sales).
Demonstrated ability to prospect and build your own pipeline.
Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound activity, navigating objections, and responding constructively to rejection.
Motivated by goals, accountable for results, and persistent in moving opportunities forward.
Curious and eager to develop a strong understanding of the barbershop industry, SQUIRE’s platform, and the customers we serve.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.
EXTRA CUT (Nice to Haves)
Full-cycle sales experience, including product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
Experience selling to owner-operators, small business owners, or SMB customers.
Phone-based inside sales experience in a high-volume environment.
Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
Familiarity with the barbering, beauty, wellness, or vertical SaaS industries.
