The EV Charger Project Executive is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. This role ensures smooth project delivery, optimal performance, safety compliance, and uptime of EV chargers across designated sites, supporting the transition to sustainable mobility.

Job Descriptions include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute project scopes, schedules, and resource plans
  • Conduct site assessments and coordinate approvals with local authorities and utilities.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing activities to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement of equipment
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and report on milestones
  • Perform field diagnostics and resolve hardware/software faults
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with OEM and regulatory standards
  • Support remote monitoring, firmware updates, and handshake protocol validation
  • Document service activities, technical findings, and improvement recommendations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of all projects

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Possess valid certifications (A0, A1, PW2, or PW4) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga. Candidates without certification but with strong technical aptitude will be considered, with support to obtain certification post-employment.
  • Knowledge of EV charging systems, low-voltage electrical systems, and relevant safety regulations will be added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in fault identification, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in digital tools for reporting, checklist completion, and maintenance documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of accountability, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or within teams.
  • Willing to travel to multiple project sites and work in outdoor environments.
  • Possess a valid Class D driving license; flexible to support weekend or public holiday operations when required.
