About the role
This role provides day-to-day administrative and reporting support to the Head of Commercial Utilities. You will help keep the team organised — managing schedules, documents and correspondence — while also taking ownership of compiling and maintaining the unit's P&L reports.
This is a great fit for someone with strong administrative skills who is comfortable working with numbers and willing to learn the basics of P&L reporting. You don't need a finance background — just attention to detail, organisation, and a willingness to pick things up.
Administrative Support
- Manage the Director's schedule, meetings and appointments
- Prepare documents, correspondence and meeting materials as needed
- Organise and maintain files, records and trackers for the team
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather updates and information on the Director's behalf
- Handle general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the team
P&L & Reporting Support
- Compile and update the Utility business unit's P&L reports on a regular basis
- Input and organise financial data into existing templates and trackers
- Prepare simple summaries and slides to support the Director's reporting to management
- Flag any obvious discrepancies or missing information for the Director's attention
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an administrative, secretarial, or business support role
- Some exposure to basic reporting or working with data is an advantage, but not required
- Organised and detail-oriented — keeps things in order and follows through
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at a basic to intermediate level
- Willing to work with numbers, even without a finance background
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage, given regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Reliable and proactive — takes ownership of tasks without needing constant follow-up
