We are seeking an experienced Luxury Safari Travel Consultant – South Africa Specialist to join our remote sales team.

In this role, you will focus specifically on South African luxury travel experiences, designing and selling bespoke itineraries to international clients. You will manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to post-travel follow-up, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client service.

This role requires strong destination knowledge of South Africa’s safari regions, luxury lodges, and travel experiences, along with proven sales ability in a high-value travel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed luxury safari bookings focused on South Africa
  • Design tailor-made itineraries including safari lodges, city stays, coastal extensions, and curated experiences
  • Manage the full client journey from initial consultation through to post-travel follow-up
  • Provide expert advice on South African safari destinations, lodges, and travel logistics
  • Liaise with lodges, hotels, and suppliers to ensure seamless travel arrangements
  • Manage multiple client itineraries simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail
  • Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, quotes, and booking documentation
  • Deliver exceptional service aligned with a high-end luxury travel standard
  • Stay up to date with South African travel trends, product updates, and industry changes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant, ideally specialising in South Africa
  • Strong and in-depth knowledge of South African safari destinations, lodges, and travel experiences
  • Demonstrated track record of selling high-value, tailor-made travel itineraries directly to international clients
  • Strong sales ability with confidence managing the full client lifecycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings
  • Strong client relationship-building skills with a focus on repeat business
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, high-performance environment
  • Passion for South African travel, wildlife, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Experience working with booking systems, quoting tools, and CRM platforms
