Physical Therapist

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1–2 patients per hour
Salary:
New Graduate: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced PT: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

About the Role

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed in Lee’s Summit, MO for a role that allows you to work at a steady, patient-focused pace. With a patient volume of 1–2 patients per hour, you will have the time to assess each person’s needs, build a clear plan of care, and support real progress through hands-on treatment, movement training, and education.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Evaluate patients and identify mobility limitations, pain concerns, strength deficits, and functional goals
• Create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility work, and functional movement support
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, posture, body mechanics, and safe movement habits
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate
• Complete accurate documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Communicate with providers, patients, and family members when needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Missouri Physical Therapist license
• New graduates are welcome
• Previous clinical experience preferred for higher salary consideration
• Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and care
