Role Overview
A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Lee’s Summit, MO for a clinician interested in outpatient orthopedic care, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and long-term professional growth.
This role supports patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions by helping them improve movement, strength, balance, mobility, and daily function. The clinic serves patients from age 11 to 90, offering a varied caseload and the opportunity to work with different recovery goals and activity levels.
The clinical team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, creating a team-based environment where communication and consistent care are part of the daily workflow.
Compensation
- New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
- Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

Preferred Schedule Options
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Snapshot
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- EMR System: WebPT
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Complete initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient goals, diagnosis, and clinical findings
- Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using appropriate physical therapy interventions
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modification, recovery expectations, and safe movement strategies
- Track patient outcomes and update treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Complete accurate documentation in WebPT
- Collaborate with PTAs, other Physical Therapists, providers, and referral sources to support continuity of care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work professionally with patients across a broad age range
