About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a UK-based client in the healthcare and pharmacy domain, supporting Data Science & Analytics delivery squads.
This is a 6-month contract with potential extension.
You will operate in an enterprise Agile environment focused on delivery predictability, transparency, and continuous improvement, working closely with UK stakeholders and distributed teams.

This is a hands-on Scrum Master role requiring independence, strong facilitation skills, and a practical approach to improving team ownership and delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews / demos, and retrospectives.
Maintain clear sprint boards, dashboards, RAID logs, dependency tracking, and delivery status reporting in Jira and DevOps / Azure DevOps.
Coach teams on Agile behaviours, including sprint goals, estimation, story clarity, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
Work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineering Leads, Business Analysts, Test Leads, and stakeholders to keep work prioritised and ready for delivery.
Track blockers, risks, dependencies, and key decisions, ensuring they are escalated through the right delivery forums and resolved in a timely manner.
Support PI / release planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART alignment, and continuous improvement across distributed teams where required.
Improve story quality, estimation discipline, backlog hygiene, sprint predictability, and follow-through from retrospectives.
Ensure delivery reporting is clear, evidence-based, and reliable.
Essential knowledge, skills & experience
Strong Scrum Master experience in technology delivery environments
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role, ideally within large-scale or enterprise environments
Hands-on Jira experience, including sprint boards, dashboards, work item tracking, and sprint reporting
Familiarity with DevOps / Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery
Experience improving backlog hygiene, story readiness, acceptance criteria, and sprint discipline
Ability to provide clear, evidence-based status reporting
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working with distributed teams, including onshore / offshore delivery models
Comfortable working with UK stakeholders and overlapping with UK working hours
