The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources Department. In this role, you will manage payroll operations, ensure compliance with labor laws, and collaborate with senior management, the Finance team, and external stakeholders to support efficient and accurate workforce processes.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and executing the calculation of the company's monthly payroll
- Calculating and monitoring liabilities to insurance funds
- Being responsible for the compliance with all the obligations of the company to the system of the Ministry of Labor (ERGANI) in accordance with the existing labor provisions (Announcements of Recruitment, Departures, Schedules of Working Hours, etc.)
- Undertaking the creation of employees' employment contracts
- Being responsible for the recruitment-departure process in accordance with labor regulations
- Monitoring employees' leaves
- Managing labor issues
- Monitoring changes in labor legislation
- Handling paperwork regarding employees
- Creating regular reports with data of employees for the needs of the Management, Financial Management and the Human Resources department, as well as extraordinary reports for other departments of the company
- Monitoring the contracts and controlling the payroll of the employees through the cooperating Temporary Employment Companies
- Executing all the obligations that the company has as an indirect employer in relation to the Ministry of Labor
- Monitoring the obligations of the company regarding the cooperating Temporary Employment Companies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Computer literacy and hands-on experience with MS Excel
- Experience of using Epsilon Net's "PYLON HRM" system or similar payroll software will be considered an asset
- Experience or knowledge in Compensation & Benefits administration will be considered an asset.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to work under pressure
