What is Expert Process Management?

The Expert Process Improvement is responsible for driving process excellence across Enterprise Solutions by evaluating, redesigning, and optimizing business processes to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. The role combines process re-engineering, workflow automation, system integration, and data analytics to deliver scalable and sustainable process improvements. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitization, implement best practices, and establish governance frameworks that support continuous improvement.

The role reports directly to the Stream Head Process Management.

What does the Expert Process Management do?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Design, document, and implement improved business processes that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation and system enhancements, collaborating with technology teams to implement scalable digital solutions.
  • Develop business cases and process requirements for system integrations, automation initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
  • Analyze process performance using data analytics and visualization tools to measure improvements and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and governance frameworks to ensure standardization and compliance.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, drive alignment, and ensure successful adoption of process improvements.
  • Lead or support process improvement and digital transformation initiatives from concept through implementation while ensuring delivery against defined timelines.
  • Monitor key process performance indicators and recommend continuous improvement initiatives based on operational data and business feedback.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by introducing best practices, process governance standards, and operational excellence methodologies.

  • Streamlined, standardized, and automated business processes across Enterprise Solutions functions.
  • Successful implementation of process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Process performance dashboards, reports, and analytical insights that support informed business decisions.
  • Comprehensive process documentation, SOPs, governance frameworks, and process repositories.
  • Improved operational KPIs, including turnaround time (TAT), process efficiency, quality, customer experience, error reduction, and cost optimization.
  • Business cases and functional requirements supporting automation and system enhancement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical, data-driven solutions.
  • A solid understanding of business operations, process management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to evaluate existing workflows, design optimized processes, and drive process standardization across functions.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and performance metrics to measure process effectiveness and support informed decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong documentation skills with experience in developing process maps, SOPs, governance frameworks, and business requirements.
  • Passion for digital transformation and continuous improvement, with the ability to champion innovation and operational excellence.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Process Management, Process Improvement, Business Operations, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation.
  • Experience in business process modeling, workflow automation, process re-engineering, or system implementation.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks will be considered an added advantage.

Soft Skills and Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business process mapping and process documentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation, business process management (BPM), and system integration concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar workflow management platforms will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project coordination and execution capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
