Responsibilities
- Performs intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer. Solves problems using well established scientific principles.
- Conducts routine technical assignments with some oversight from experienced personnel.
- Develops small to mid-size project or proposals.
- Works with designers to develop engineering and design documents as needed for the project.
- Prepare pipe stress deliverables such as final stress reports calculations, nozzle loads check, and other specialty documentation related to the area are in accordance with industry codes, contract requirements.
- Recognizes, troubleshoots and resolves design constraints and issues. Applies economic analysis to determine best cost solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- +8 years of experience in stress analysis related with utilities, BOP in Oil & Gas, Water & Industrial projects.
- Proficiency in stress analysis software such as Caesar II, Autopipe,
- Experience in 3D model navigation computer programs as Naviswork and UPV.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8.
- English Proficient (C1)
