ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a commercially driven and creatively minded Director of Ad Sales to lead revenue growth across Vietnam. This is a senior individual-contributor and team-building role at the intersection of Connected TV (CTV), streaming, and digital video advertising — one of the fastest-growing segments in Southeast Asia.

You will be the face of our advertising business in-market, building and owning relationships with top-tier brand advertisers and media agencies, crafting compelling go-to-market strategies, and closing high-value partnerships that drive measurable results for clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Revenue Generation & Sales Leadership

• Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for Vietnam across CTV, digital video, and streaming inventory.

• Develop a robust pipeline of brand advertisers, performance marketers, and agency partners through proactive outreach and relationship cultivation.

• Lead the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitch through negotiation, deal close, and renewal.

• Drive direct and programmatic CTV/video ad sales across streaming platforms, OTT environments, and digital properties.

Go-To-Market Strategy

• Build and execute a strategic GTM plan tailored to the Vietnam advertising market, identifying key verticals, seasonal opportunities, and competitive positioning.

• Translate platform capabilities into compelling, insight-led narratives and custom proposals for brand and agency audiences.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Ad Operations to develop market-ready packages and sponsorship solutions.

• Stay ahead of industry trends — CTV growth, programmatic adoption, audience targeting innovations — and bring market intelligence back to the business.

Client & Agency Relationships

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key brand advertisers and holding-group agencies across Vietnam.

• Deliver proactive, consultative client care — bringing creative ideas, campaign performance insights, and upsell opportunities to every client interaction.

• Host client events, executive briefings, and industry events to strengthen relationships and elevate our brand presence in-market.

• Partner with Account Management and Ad Ops to ensure seamless campaign delivery and a best-in-class advertiser experience.

Team & Market Development

• Lay the groundwork for a scalable sales team in Vietnam — defining hiring needs, onboarding processes, and performance frameworks as the business grows.

• Represent the company at key industry conferences, trade bodies (e.g., IAB Vietnam), and advertiser forums.

• Provide regular forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market feedback to regional leadership.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of advertising sales experience, with a strong focus on CTV, digital video, and/or streaming media.

• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, competitive media environment.

• Deep knowledge of the CTV and digital video advertising ecosystem — ad formats, measurement, programmatic, audience targeting, and attribution.

• Established network of relationships with senior brand marketers and media agency decision-makers in Vietnam.

• Experience selling advertising solutions at or for a major streaming platform, broadcast/digital network, or premium video publisher.

• Strong command of the Vietnam advertising landscape — market dynamics, key categories, and the competitive media environment.

• Business-fluent English and native Vietnamese.
