Job Summary

We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our expansion within the UK logistics market. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy, requiring a strategic "go-getter" who can identify high-potential opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships. Working remotely and reporting directly to the leadership team, you will have the autonomy to own the full sales cycle and the support of an established logistics infrastructure to ensure your clients receive world-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across road, air, sea freight, and warehousing services.
  • Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline through independent outreach and lead generation.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations to showcase end-to-end logistics solutions.
  • Convert prospects into active accounts with a target of acquiring 4–6 new clients per month.
  • Maintain meticulous records within the CRM to track communication and pipeline health.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the logistics industry, preferably with a focus on the UK market.
  • Demonstrated track record in business development, lead generation, and closing new business.
  • Exceptional English communication skills with a neutral accent and a professional email writing style.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and digital sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently with high initiative and a results-driven mindset.
  • Must be available to work UK business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM GMT) in a remote capacity.

  • Extensive experience in B2B sales.
  • Previous experience working with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Existing network within the logistics or supply chain sector.
