As an Income Audit Clerk at Belmond Safaris, you are responsible for following up on overdue payments through various modes and prepare reports and actions taken on payment recovery from overdue accounts. Primary Responsibilities Include

• Check the Daily Revenues and Collections for the various companies for accuracy and in agreement with submitted backup.

• Follow up on overdue payments through various modes and prepare reports and actions taken on payment recovery from overdue accounts

• Assisting with external and internal audit queries.

• Review revenue adjustments and allowances and ensure that the reasons are valid, appropriate evidence is supplied and that transactions are correctly recorded and authorised.

• Ensure completeness of credit card refunds, paid outs and voids and policy adherence daily.

• Prepare reconciliation between adhoc guest charges and associated supplier invoices and submit to Accounts Payable for processing and payment

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Experience within a similar role is preferable

• Highly computer literate

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Data entry skills along with an aptitude for numbers
