Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

As a Tableware Sales Specialist, you will be responsible in driving sales of premium Italian tableware to HoReCa clients by developing new business, providing design and product consultation, and delivering tailored dining concepts that enhance client experiences. You will manage end-to-end sales activities including sampling, presentations, and coordination with internal teams, while building strong client relationships, monitoring market trends, and achieving sales targets through premium positioning and repeat business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Sales/Product Specialist for Tableware, you will be the primary expert and advocate for our extensive dining portfolio, including ceramics, glassware, and cutlery. Your mission is to elevate the dining experience of our clients by providing specialized product knowledge and exceptional service.

Portfolio Mastery: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our tableware brands, including melamine, ceramic, acrylic, glassware, and stainless steel utensils, to effectively communicate their aesthetic and functional benefits to clients.

Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café) sector in Metro Manila.

Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with restaurateurs, executive chefs, and hotel procurement teams.

Curated Presentations: Create and deliver customized product presentations and proposals tailored to the specific concept and "vibe" of our clients' dining spaces.

Sample Coordination: Work closely with clients to gather feedback on submitted samples and coordinate with the product team for improvements.

Market Analysis: Monitor dining trends and competitor offerings to ensure our tableware catalog remains the top choice for luxury and commercial projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Logistics and Technical teams to ensure a seamless order-to-delivery experience for every client.

The role involves selling premium Italian tableware, including plates, glassware, and dining accessories, to high-end restaurants, hotels, and cafés, with a strong focus on design consultation and concept development to create cohesive dining experiences. Including driving new business development for high-value products, providing design and concept matching based on client themes, and managing the end-to-end sampling process with coordination and follow-ups. The role also requires conducting on-site presentations, maintaining strong after-sales relationships for warranty and maintenance, and achieving quarterly sales targets of PHP 2 million. Also, they will educate clients on product pairing and ambiance creation, compete with lower-cost alternatives by emphasizing premium quality and design, and build long-term client relationships to support repeat business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in HORECA industry
  • Strong aesthetic sense and design consultation abilities.
  • Experience in high-value B2B sales.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Ability to conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Results-driven with strong business development focus.

Highly Preferred:

  • Background in hospitality, interior design, or luxury goods.
  • Experience selling tableware, furniture, or design products.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and dining concepts.
  • Network within upscale dining establishments.
  • Knowledge of Italian design and luxury brands.

Schedule: 

  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible for client meetings)
  • Field-based role with frequent client visits.
  • Occasional evening meetings due to Italy time zone coordination
  • Travel within Metro Manila and surrounding areas
