About the role
Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Assets Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology infrastructure projects across Qiddiya assets and developments. The role ensures the successful implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, manages project activities, coordinates with stakeholders and vendors, and supports the delivery of technology services in line with business requirements, project timelines, and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Project Delivery
- Support the end-to-end delivery of technology infrastructure projects across Qiddiya assets, facilities, and developments.
- Coordinate the implementation of network, connectivity, workplace technology, security, and data center infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution.
- Support the transition of completed projects to operations and service teams.
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in reviewing project requirements, technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Support infrastructure capacity planning and technology readiness activities.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
- Coordinate vendor activities, deliverables, and project schedules.
- Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations, quotations, purchase requests, and contract execution.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and governance records.
- Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, risk registers, and executive presentations.
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
Infrastructure Readiness & Handover
- Support testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
- Coordinate infrastructure handover activities with operations and support teams.
- Ensure all project deliverables, documentation, and acceptance criteria are completed.
- Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned activities.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery, technology project management, or enterprise infrastructure operations.
